Blackpool

Blackpool South was the next camp site, about half an hour from Blackpool front, on the first afternoon we cycled down and along the front, the following day got an all day bus ticket and travelled along the front to Fleetwood back to Blackpool and on to Lytham St Annes all for $8-00. Weather was good so we strolled up the piers , had chips on the front and pints of beer in hotels where blue rinsed old ladies shushed you if you ordered at the bar while the bingo was being called. Int life grand.

Liverpool

From Chester we caught a bus to Birkenhead and on it through the Mersey Tunnel to Liverpool. We strolled along the road where the Beatles made their name, waved to the Liver birds on the top of their building, took a topless bus around the sites where Pat gave us a personnel narration of every tourist spot and every pub he had ever drunk in ( they wern't busy), but interesting enough, part of Albert Docks was built from the stones of the demolished Liverpool Castle, they get value for their brass up here.

Chester Eastgate clock

Chester is a bustling country town again with a lot of history. It is the only city to have a mixture of medieval and roman walls to surround it completely.

Chester

We have now left Wales and in the county of Cheshire.Today we went into the city

Conway

This is the smallest house in UK.People lived in it until 1900,literally 1 up and 1 down. Not a table or sink or bathroom.Only 2 people allowed(fitted) in at any time.
